“My dog has completely ignored every toy I have ever bought — until this ball. He chased it around the lounge for 45 minutes straight. I have never seen him so happy. Best R199 I have ever spent.”

Unleash your dog's playful spirit — even when you are busy
South African dogs spend long hours alone while their owners are at work, stuck in traffic or dealing with load shedding. A bored dog is not a bad dog — they just need the right outlet. Without stimulation, that energy turns into chewed shoes, scratched furniture and non-stop barking that frustrates the whole household.
The Cozy Collar Active Rolling Ball is more than a toy — it mimics the unpredictable movement of real prey, triggering your dog's natural chase and hunting instincts. The rotating tail adds an extra layer of excitement that keeps even the most distracted dogs completely locked in. Drop it on the floor, walk away, and come home to a tired, happy dog.

How it works
- Switch the ball on — it starts moving and rotating on its own immediately
- Place it on any flat surface — tiles, wooden floors or carpet all work
- Watch your dog go into full hunt mode — chasing, pouncing and batting the tail
- The smart wake-up feature reactivates the ball when touched — keeping the game going automatically
Which variant should I choose?
Dragonfly tail variants
Best for dogs who love feather and flutter movement — triggers strongest chase instinct
Rope tail variants
Best for chewers and tuggers — durable rope tail survives aggressive play
Plush variants
Best for gentle dogs and puppies — soft plush tail for sensitive play styles
Give your dog the toy they will actually play with — guaranteed.

Would highly recommend this item if you have cats. They work well and are totally amusing to cats. They are rechargeable which is great . If they roll below furniture don’t as long as there’s a charge in the unit it will find its way back as they have bump sensors which means it changes a lot with different directions.
When it works it’s great. Wish it would hold a charge better. Also the white clamps do come off the ball if it falls off a couch and then it won’t spin. Have to get up and place it correctly. Also the flap where you open to charge sometimes does not stay closed which inhibits that ball rolling. That said, when it spins freely and has a good charge it keeps my little dog entertained.
I went back and forth between giving this four or five stars because the toy actually does everything it's supposed to do. It rolls around, changes direction when it bumps into something, lights up, and keeps moving on its own. The problem was that my cats just weren't interested. They watched it for a minute, then ignored it. My dog, on the other hand, was much more curious, although I think she'd probably destroy it pretty quickly. It might be a great toy for a small dog or for more playful cats than mine. The only thing I didn't like is that the little tail comes off very easily. I kept having to stop the ball and put it back in. Ironically, my cats had more fun playing with the tail by itself than with the moving ball.
My cat is so entertained by this chirping toy ball. It's motion activated, so it isn't constantly on, which is a good thing.Sight, sound, and touch all wrapped up in this toy.He is very intrigued by the movement that it brings out his natural hunting skills of stalking, pouncing, and chasing. I love watching my boy playing with this toy. It's so funny to watch my cat play with this toy. This toy is versatile as it moves freely across carpet, hardwood floors, and tile floors. It helps use up my cats unspent energy. It has 3 modes: gentle, standard, and active. The speed aligns with which mode it's in.It is gentle on cat's teeth, and paws. Tough enough for rough play.Natural Play Cycle | USB-C Rechargeable: 10-minute play / 30-minute auto-rest cycle mimics wild prey to avoid over-fatigue. Built-in battery offers 40-110 minutes of playtime, recharges conveniently with USB-C. Since it has a rechargeable battery, you never have to worry about replacing batteries all the time. The tail on this ball drives my cat crazy, but in a good way. It's a durable toy that last after rough play, and bumps. The toy is perfect size. It has great feline engagement.Great price point. I recommend this toy.
The cats do like this toy but in small doses. The lowest setting is too boring judging by their lack of interest when that mode was going. The highest setting was far too scary and I'm probably going to spend an extra decade in purgatory for laughing at all the times they tried to get away but the random bumping kept sending the ball after them. The middle one is a skosh too fast but acceptable enough that they will play with it for a few minutes before wandering off. I think their favorite part is when it is in a mode that acts like distressed prey. That's when they really go after it. My dad was also entertained watching me chase after it so I could turn it off before supper. This thing so far has survived multiple trips down wooden stairs onto ceramic tile and gotten itself out from under furniture before I could grab it. The soft fabric on the ball is nice for softening its bounce but it absolutely will pick up every stray hair and dust along the way. The photo below is after I made several passes with a lint roller and I know from experience it's going to get grungier over time.Unlike a similar ball I bought previously, this one doesn't have a plastic mesh tail that can be dangerous for cats who like to chew on them. I still wouldn't let the cats play with this unsupervised as the synthetic material in this cloth tail can still be a problem. I would really love it if these came with different types of tails or some kind of doohickey that would allow changing out the tail for something else, like feathers.I recommend turning it off before going to bed because it's easy to forget it's in sleep mode until it starts chirping and thumping down the hallway at 3am.
